Description
NEWLY LAUNCHED IN INDIA · 29 OCTOBER 2026
Philips Oxygenate 5: home oxygen, clearly controlled
The Philips Oxygenate 5 brings a digital flow display and continuous oxygen delivery to a prescribed home-care routine. Choose the flow advised by your clinician within its 0.5–5 LPM range, and keep the essentials together with the included humidifier bottle, connecting tube and standard nasal cannula.
Designed as a stationary, mains-powered concentrator, it combines a carry handle and castors for positioning in the home with nine-level filtration and a readable digital flowmeter.
A clearer daily routine
- Digital flowmeter: read the selected flow on the display during setup and routine checks.
- Continuous flow: supplies oxygen continuously within the rated range, rather than as a pulse triggered by each breath.
- Typical sound below 40 dBA: a practical consideration for a home-care space; actual room sound varies with placement and surroundings.
- Nine-level filtration: part of the Oxygenate 5 air-handling design, with extra filters supplied for ongoing care.
- Handle and castors: help reposition the concentrator indoors while keeping it upright and following the handling instructions.

Is Philips Oxygenate 5 right for your home?
This model is for people whose treating clinician has prescribed supplemental oxygen within its supported range. Before ordering, confirm the flow in litres per minute, daily duration and interface required. A higher number on the flow control is not automatically better: the prescription determines the appropriate setting.
Allow space around the concentrator for ventilation and choose a stable indoor position with access to the correct mains supply. Plan a tubing route that avoids tight bends and trip hazards. If you need oxygen while travelling away from a socket, explore our portable oxygen concentrators and confirm the delivery mode with your care team.

- 1 × humidifier bottle.
- 1 × bottle-connecting tube.
- 1 × standard nasal cannula.

- 1 × additional air filter.

Getting started at home
- Confirm the prescription. Check the required flow, hours of use and patient interface with the treating team.
- Position the machine. Keep it upright in a ventilated area, with air openings clear. Follow the supplied manual’s clearance and handling instructions.
- Prepare the connections. If using humidification, assemble the supplied bottle and tube correctly and use the water type and fill limits specified in the manual.
- Connect and check. Attach the prescribed patient interface, check for kinks or loose connections, and verify flow at the patient end with the equipment provider.
- Use the prescribed setting. Check the display and indicators before each session. Ask the provider to explain alarms, daily checks and the backup oxygen plan.
Need more reach? Choose the cannula thoughtfully
The optional 25 ft adult nasal cannula gives approximately 7.5 metres of reach for a suitable home layout. It is listed for adult use at 1–6 LPM. Have the provider confirm suitability for the patient and prescribed flow before choosing it, especially for low-flow or paediatric use.
The Oxygenate 5 instructions permit a defined extension-tubing arrangement up to 15 m, with minimum bore requirements, plus a short patient cannula. This is not permission to connect any tubing of that length: diameter, connections and the complete arrangement matter. Longer tubing may reduce flow.

Care, service and warranty
Build a simple maintenance routine around the supplied manual. Unplug the device before wiping the exterior, keep the air openings free of dust, and follow the separate instructions for the humidifier and each filter. Do not wash a filter unless the instructions identify it as washable. Components must be properly dry before refitting where washing is allowed.
Four additional air-inlet filters and one additional air filter are supplied in the India package. Ask the equipment provider to identify each filter and demonstrate its care or replacement procedure. Do not open the cabinet or attempt internal repairs.
Philips India announces a three-year limited warranty and a 10,000-hour sieve warranty. Coverage follows the manufacturer’s applicable terms and exclusions. Retain the invoice and contact RespBuy for service coordination.
Essential oxygen safety
Oxygen supports combustion. Keep the device, tubing and patient away from smoking, naked flames, sparks, oils and grease. Use only the prescribed flow and approved setup. Oxygenate 5 is not life-support equipment and needs mains electricity; agree a backup oxygen plan in advance. If oxygen delivery stops or the patient becomes unwell, follow the care team’s emergency instructions and seek medical help.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Philips Oxygenate 5 used for?
It supplies continuous-flow supplemental oxygen for prescribed home oxygen therapy. Your clinician must determine whether oxygen is needed and prescribe the flow and duration. It is not a CPAP or BiPAP machine.
Is Oxygenate 5 a new launch in India?
Yes. Philips announced the India launch on 29 October 2026. This listing is for the Oxygenate 5 stationary oxygen concentrator.
What flow range does it provide?
The supported continuous-flow range is 0.5 to 5 litres per minute. Use the prescribed setting; a 5 LPM concentrator cannot supply a prescribed 10 LPM flow.
Is this a portable, battery-operated concentrator?
No. It is a mains-powered stationary concentrator weighing approximately 18 kg. Its handle and castors help with positioning inside the home. They do not make it a battery-powered travel concentrator.
What is included with the India stock supplied by RespBuy?
One Oxygenate 5 concentrator, one humidifier bottle, one bottle-connecting tube and one standard nasal cannula are included. The India package also includes four additional air-inlet filters and one additional air filter. The optional long cannula is sold separately.
Can I add a longer nasal cannula?
A 25 ft adult nasal cannula is available as an optional add-on. Ask your equipment provider to check the complete tubing arrangement, bore and flow at the patient before use. Longer tubing can reduce delivered flow. The optional adult cannula is listed for 1–6 LPM; it is not the appropriate automatic choice for every patient or a 0.5 LPM prescription.
How quiet is the Philips Oxygenate 5?
Philips specifies typical sound below 40 dBA under its stated test conditions. It still makes operating noise; perceived sound depends on the room, placement and distance from the device.
Does it keep supplying oxygen during a power cut?
It needs mains power and does not include an operating backup battery. Arrange a backup oxygen plan with the treating team and equipment provider before relying on it at home.
Can it be used for a child?
The manufacturer identifies use for adults and children aged three years and older. A paediatric clinician must assess suitability and prescribe the flow and patient interface; do not assume the optional adult cannula is suitable.
What warranty is offered?
Philips India announces a three-year limited warranty and a 10,000-hour sieve warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, exclusions and service process. Keep your purchase invoice and contact RespBuy for warranty assistance.
Can I connect it directly to my CPAP or BiPAP?
Do not connect the concentrator to a PAP circuit without guidance. Your clinician and equipment provider must confirm the oxygen prescription, suitable connection, flow and safe operating arrangement for the specific machine.
How should I clean and maintain it?
Switch off and unplug before exterior cleaning. Follow the supplied manual for the cabinet, humidifier and each filter; different filter types have different care or replacement requirements. Keep ventilation openings clear, refit only dry components where washing is permitted, and leave internal servicing to trained personnel.
