Oxymed CPAP Machine Comparison: SleepEasy, SleepEasy 2.0 & AirSmart

SLEEP APNEA · BUYING GUIDE

Four Oxymed options. One clearer buying decision.

Compare the Oxymed CPAP machine range with AirSmart bilevel devices by therapy type, everyday features and price—then choose the package that matches your prescription.

Choosing a sleep therapy machine involves more than comparing prices. Within the Oxymed range, SleepEasy, SleepEasy 2.0, AirSmart Auto and AirSmart ST offer different combinations of therapy modes and practical features. This guide brings them together so you can understand what you are paying for and avoid buying a model with the wrong therapy capability.

Quick answer: Start with SleepEasy or SleepEasy 2.0 for a CPAP/Auto CPAP prescription. Compare AirSmart Auto when auto bilevel therapy is prescribed. Consider AirSmart ST when your clinician specifically requires timed support or volume-targeting capabilities.

Oxymed CPAP machine comparison: prices and key differences

These are starting prices at RespBuy, checked on 14 October 2026. They are not identical accessory bundles. Your selected mask, humidifier, pack or pressure variant can change the final amount.

CPAP, Auto CPAP and BiPAP: understand the difference

CPAP provides a fixed continuous pressure. Auto CPAP, also called APAP, adjusts pressure during sleep within the prescribed range. Bilevel PAP provides different pressures for inhalation and exhalation. These distinctions are explained in the NIH guide to sleep apnea treatment.

“Auto” does not mean the machine can choose your diagnosis or replace a prescription. Equally, a bilevel device is not automatically a better purchase for everyone. Start with the therapy mode your clinician recommends, then compare comfort, accessories and cost within that group.

Which Oxymed model belongs on your shortlist?

1. SleepEasy Auto CPAP: a straightforward starting point

SleepEasy offers CPAP and Auto CPAP modes with a 4–20 cmH₂O pressure range. It is a practical model to compare when you want the core CPAP functions without moving into a different therapy category. Its adjustable ramp and heated-humidifier option are useful everyday features to discuss when arranging your setup.

Look carefully at the humidifier selection: RespBuy offers choices with and without a humidifier, as well as mask options. Compare the total for the configuration you need, rather than assuming the lowest displayed price includes every accessory.

2. SleepEasy 2.0: compare the interface and accessory package

SleepEasy 2.0 remains a CPAP/Auto CPAP choice. Its newer interface and SD-card data storage make it worth considering when you want a more current everyday setup. RespBuy lists Single Pack and Tri Pack variants, with optional heated tubing and monitoring features.

The starting price is only ₹1,200 above the original SleepEasy at the time of this comparison. That makes it worth opening both product pages and comparing equivalent bundles. A heated tube or oximetry accessory should be treated as included only when it appears in the selected pack contents. Do not assume all connectivity features or accessories come with the base model.

3. AirSmart Bi-Level Auto: for an auto bilevel prescription

AirSmart Auto supports CPAP, Auto CPAP, S and Auto BPAP, with a 4–30 cmH₂O pressure range for this listed model. Its heated humidifier and tilted colour display complement the therapy modes. The important purchase distinction is auto bilevel capability.

RespBuy offers it at ₹34,800 without a mask, or ₹35,800 with an Oxymed nasal or full-face mask. The mask bundles offer Small, Medium and Large sizes. The machine package includes the hose, humidifier, filters, bag, power adapter and power cable.

AirSmart Auto and AirSmart ST are separate models. If your prescription names an ST mode or backup rate, do not substitute the Auto model because the casing or brand name looks similar.

4. AirSmart BPAP ST: check the prescribed mode and variant

The AirSmart ST range adds timed support and volume-targeting capabilities for clinician-directed use. RespBuy offers 25 and 30 cmH₂O pressure variants. Match the exact model and prescribed mode before comparing accessories or price.

A 30 cmH₂O maximum does not make that variant the right choice for every person, and it is not a pressure setting to select yourself. Likewise, volume-targeting features are not a reason to move away from a CPAP prescription without clinical advice. Ask your clinician to confirm the required variant if the prescription only says “BiPAP”.

Compare the complete package before ordering

A useful comparison puts equivalent packages side by side. Before you add a machine to your cart, check these five details:

  1. Exact machine and therapy mode: confirm the model name, generation and pressure variant against your prescription.
  2. Humidifier and tubing: check whether the humidifier is included and whether the hose is standard or heated. Do not assume heated-tube compatibility means a heated tube is supplied.
  3. Mask model and size: select the intended nasal or full-face option and the correct size. Avoid choosing a mask only because it is the cheapest bundle.
  4. Data and optional accessories: check the selected pack for storage, connectivity and monitoring equipment. Ask whether optional services have separate charges.
  5. Warranty and replacement parts: confirm the warranty for the exact model, the service process, and the cost and availability of filters, tubing and mask cushions.

Buying the right mask and having the setup explained can matter as much to your experience as a newer display. The NIH CPAP guide notes that getting used to treatment can take time and that your healthcare provider can help with mask comfort, humidification and settings.

How to narrow the choice without overbuying

Already prescribed Auto CPAP? Put SleepEasy and SleepEasy 2.0 side by side, select comparable humidifier and mask packages, and decide whether the newer interface and accessories are worth the difference to you.

Prescribed auto bilevel? Review AirSmart Auto. Confirm the therapy mode, then choose the mask bundle and size.

Prescribed ST or volume-targeted support? Review AirSmart ST with the exact prescription in hand. Confirm both the mode and 25/30 variant before ordering.

Not yet diagnosed? Arrange an assessment before choosing a therapy machine. Snoring alone is not enough to determine the machine or settings you need.

Frequently asked questions

Which Oxymed CPAP machine should I compare first?

If your prescription specifies CPAP or Auto CPAP, compare SleepEasy and SleepEasy 2.0 first. Match the prescribed therapy, then compare the selected package, humidifier, data features and accessories.

What is the difference between Oxymed SleepEasy and SleepEasy 2.0?

Both offer CPAP and Auto CPAP. SleepEasy 2.0 adds a newer interface and SD-card-based data storage, with optional heated-tube and monitoring packages. Check the selected Single Pack or Tri Pack contents before ordering.

Is AirSmart Auto the same as AirSmart ST?

No. AirSmart Auto offers CPAP, Auto CPAP, S and Auto BPAP modes. AirSmart ST is a separate range with timed support and volume-targeting features. Buy the exact model and mode specified by your clinician.

How much does an Oxymed CPAP machine cost in India?

At RespBuy on 14 October 2026, SleepEasy starts at Rs 26,790 and SleepEasy 2.0 at Rs 27,990. AirSmart Auto starts at Rs 34,800 and AirSmart ST at Rs 39,490. Selected accessories and variants change the final price; check the live product page.

Is a mask included with an Oxymed machine?

Mask inclusion depends on the package. Select the mask option and size on the product page. The AirSmart Auto package is Rs 34,800 without a mask or Rs 35,800 with an Oxymed nasal or full-face mask in Small, Medium or Large.

Can I change from CPAP to BiPAP myself?

A change in therapy type or pressure settings should be directed by your treating clinician. A higher maximum pressure or a longer feature list does not establish that a machine suits your prescription.
