If you breathe through your mouth during sleep, a full face mask can provide the coverage your therapy needs. AirFit F40 brings that coverage into a low-profile design that rests beneath the nose rather than over the nasal bridge. The open area around your eyes lets you wear glasses while reading or watching television before settling down.
The soft silicone cushion adapts to your face, while the flexible frame accommodates movement. Together, they are designed to help maintain comfort and seal as you change sleeping positions. This makes the F40 a practical choice to discuss with your sleep-care provider when you want full face support with a less bulky feel.

AdaptiSeal silicone cushion
The supple cushion conforms to facial contours to support a comfortable seal. Its under-the-nose position leaves the nasal bridge clear and keeps the mask profile compact.

QuietAir diffused venting
QuietAir spreads exhaled airflow through the vent, helping reduce noise and the directed breeze that can disturb a bed partner.
Less tube drag, easier disconnection
The short tube provides flexibility between the mask and your device tubing. A quick-release elbow lets you disconnect without removing the entire mask, making nighttime breaks more convenient.
A fit you can make your own
Four headgear adjustment points help you balance the fit with two upper and two lower straps. Magnetic clips make attaching and removing the lower straps straightforward once the headgear has been adjusted.
Choose from Small Wide, Medium or Large cushions, each paired here with standard headgear. Cushion size and headgear size are separate measurements; use the F40 fitting guidance to select the cushion that fits your face. A comfortable seal should not require excessive strap tension.

Clean the cushion, elbow, short tube and vent ring daily; clean the headgear and frame weekly. Hand wash with mild liquid detergent, rinse thoroughly and air dry out of direct sunlight.
Does it contain magnets?

Important magnet safety information
This mask must not be used if you, or someone in close physical contact during use, has an active implant that interacts with magnets or an implant/object containing ferromagnetic material. Examples include pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators and certain metallic implants.
Keep the mask magnets at least 150 mm from implants or medical devices affected by magnets. This distance does not override the contraindications. Consult your clinician and read the complete ResMed user guide before use. The mask is for prescribed PAP therapy in patients weighing more than 30 kg.
