To determine the correct mask size for your facial structure, we recommend taking exact measurements using the method described below. This is the most accurate way to determine your correct size.
- Find a ruler or measuring tape at home. When measuring, please try to use a rigid measuring tool and measure in a straight line up and down. Avoid nose curve.
- Measure from the bridge of your nose to the indent on your chin (just below your bottom lip). *See fig. 1 below. You should be measuring from the height of the bridge of your nose (which his usually just below your eye line) down to the indent in your chin.

The ResMed AirFit F20 is an adult full-face mask, so the correct size should be selected based on the child's face measurements and fit, rather than age alone.
The F20 Small cushion is designed for a face height of approximately 74–86 mm, measured from the bridge of the nose to the area between the lower lip and chin.
So, an 11-year-old may be able to use the Small size if it fits correctly, but we recommend checking the ResMed F20 sizing template before purchasing. The mask should sit comfortably without excessive pressure or air leakage.
