A wide pressure range of 4 to 20 cmH2O and advanced features such as automatic leak and altitude compensation and small power supply make the GoodKnight 420 units equally effective for home, hospital or sleep lab and can be used almost anywhere in the world without specific adaptation.
With the convenience of this new GoodKnight 420 nasal CPAP system, maintaining an active lifestyle is no longer a hindrance to patient compliance. The auto-CPAP function adapts to airway pressure needs on both a short and long-term basis. • It detects apnea with and without cardiac oscillations to avoid increasing pressure on central apneas with open airways. • It detects inspiratory flow limitation with and without hypopnea to adapt to pressure needs and limit increasing pressure on central hypopneas. • It detects and responds to snoring events.
Using Silverlining® 3 Software, all this patient data can be downloaded onto a computer by cable or using the modem capacity. Additionally, Silverlining® 3 features different types of graphs and figures to easily review and print in customized reports.
The Puritan Bennett GoodKnight 420E CPAP includes the following features:
