The magnetic version of the ResMed F20 is generally more convenient because the magnetic clips make it easier to put on and remove the mask, especially at night. However, it is not necessarily better in terms of therapy or sealing—the fit and comfort are what matter most.
Important: F20 masks with magnetic clips are not suitable for people with certain medical implants or devices that can be affected by magnets, such as some pacemakers, ICDs, neurostimulators and certain metallic implants. If you have any implanted medical device, please check the ResMed magnetic-mask safety guidelines or consult your doctor before choosing the magnetic version.
If magnets are not suitable for you, the non-magnetic F20 is a good alternative and can provide the same type of full-face mask therapy.
