Refresh the face-contact part of your mask with a ResMed AirFit F40 replacement cushion. The under-the-nose silicone cushion covers the mouth while leaving the nose bridge uncovered. This listing supplies a single cushion, so you can replace that component while keeping the other serviceable parts of your F40.

Choose the correct replacement
Find the size marking on your current F40 cushion and compare it with the option you are ordering. Small Wide is one size name, not two separate options. Headgear size does not determine cushion size. If the existing size has not been comfortable, use the F40 fitting guide or contact our support team rather than automatically choosing the same letter used on another mask model.

Fitting and everyday checks
The cushion attaches to the F40 frame using its side studs. The separate vent ring seats in the cushion opening, and the elbow connects to that ring. Follow the manufacturer’s assembly instructions and check each connection before use. Do not substitute an F20, F30 or F30i cushion just because it is also described as a full face mask cushion.
Cleaning and storage
Use the cleaning method for this component in the F40 user guide. The official video below demonstrates disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of the complete F40 mask. Follow the component-specific instructions, rinse thoroughly and allow the part to dry as directed before reconnecting it. Inspect for damage during cleaning, and keep the parts in a clean place between uses.

No. You receive one replacement silicone cushion in the selected size. The remaining mask parts are sold separately.
Which cushion sizes can I order?
Choose Small Wide, Medium or Large using the size selector. Each option is a single cushion, not a pack of three sizes.
Does this cushion include the QuietAir vent ring?
No. The QuietAir vent ring is a separate product. Reuse a serviceable correct ring or add a replacement separately.
Can I use an F20 or F30 cushion instead?
